With a BCL degree from UCC in 1974, Helen was indentured to her father, Liam Collins, Clonakilty, co-founder of our predecessors, Wolfe Collins O’Keeffe & Partners. After working with London-based solicitors, she qualified in 1976 and joined Wolfe & Co. Helen specialises in problem solving and all aspects of Family Law (to include Child Sex Abuse, Custody Matters, Maintenance, Separation, Divorce, Annulments, Abductions, Domestic Violence). She is a founding member of the Association of Collaborative Practitioners, a trained Mediator and author of “A Short Guide to Divorce Law in Ireland – A Survival Handbook for the Family”.

Colette is a graduate of the University of Limerick, obtaining an Honours Arts Degree in Law and European Studies with French, in 1996. She was indentured to our current Managing Partner, Helen Collins and qualified as a solicitor in 2000. Since qualifying, Colette regularly attends to District, Circuit and High Court matters both locally and countrywide dealing with civil, criminal and family law matters and also acts for a number of Government and Local Authorities in the prosecution of civil and criminal matters. Colette specialises in Child Custody, Access, Maintenance and Domestic Violence District Court applications.

Viv graduated from University College Cork with a BCL degree in 1993 and continued to study and gain an LL.B degree in the following year. Viv then proceeded to serve her apprenticeship under Plunkett Taaffe (now of Murphy Long & Taaffe), Bandon and qualified as a solicitor in 1997. Since then, Viv has gained a wealth of experience in a number of solicitor’s offices in Skibbereen and became a member of the team at Wolfe & Co. in the latter part of 2016.

Maura became a member of the Wolfe & Co. team after qualifying in 1981 and was indentured to our Partner Kevin P O’Flynn, having graduated from University College Cork with an Arts Degree in French and Irish in 1978. Maura specialises in all types of property and conveyancing transactions to include private and commercial property, mortgages, leasing, agricultural transfers and transfers of property within families as well as Estate Planning and Administration, Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney. Prior to moving into Law, Liz had a distinguished and varied career in the Financial Sector and the Hotel and Catering industry and worked in a number of countries including Australia, the United States and the UK. Following her legal studies, Liz graduated from University College Cork with an Honours BCL Degree in 1997, was indentured to our current Managing Partner Helen Collins and qualified as a solicitor in 2001. Anne graduated from University College Dublin with a BA Degree in Economics and English. Having studied French and Law at the Sorbonne and American University of Paris respectively, Anne studied for her Post Graduate Diploma in Law at the College of Law London, completed her training in the City of London, qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 1999 and was recently admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland. Anne has worked for a number of global financial institutions in Paris, the UK and Hong Kong and joined the Wolfe & Co. team in 2018.

Alana is a graduate of Waterford Institute of Technology where she obtained a First class honours degree in Law and Business. Alana has also gained a diploma in Insolvency Law. Alana proceeded to serve her apprenticeship with Anne L Horgan & Co. Solicitors in Cork. Since her qualification in 2010 Alana gained a wealth of experience with that firm and became a member of the Wolfe & Co. team in early 2021.

Naomi graduated from Dublin Business School with an honours degree in Law in 2001. She completed her solicitor training, then apprenticed under Hugh Ward, Senior Partner of Hugh J Ward & Co. and gained a variety of experience. She qualified from the Law society in 2007 then returned to Skibbereen to work in her father’s practice, Patrick McCarthy & Co. Naomi then worked on her private enterprise before joining Wolfe & Co. in 2021. Naomi has rapport with her clients and enjoys availing of her local knowledge and legal expertise in assisting them.

Aislinn graduated from the University of Limerick with an honours degree in Law Plus in 2015. She continued to study and achieved a post-graduate honours degree in Law from University College Cork in 2015/2016. Aislinn began working as a Legal Executive in Wolfe & Co LLP in 2017 where she gained a variety of experience throughout the firm. Aislinn moved to Sydney, Australia for 2018 and 2019 where she gained invaluable experience in various legal firms working in Family Law and Litigation. She was then indentured to our current Managing Partner, Helen Collins and qualified as a solicitor in 2023. Aislinn specialises in all aspects of Family Law and Civil Litigation.
